How it works

Three practical steps.

  1. Keep your records current

Record invoices and business expenses in ASE Schedule so they can contribute to the overview.

  2. Choose the reporting period

Select the relevant dates and available filters in the reporting workflow.

  3. Compare and review

Inspect totals and breakdowns. Check unpaid invoices and missing expenses before interpreting the result.

The displayed net profit figure is calculated from non-void invoiced totals minus recorded business expenses. Invoices may be unpaid and expenses depend on what you enter. This is an operational view, not verified accounting profit or bank cash flow.

A few practical questions

Before you start.

Is the revenue figure the same as cash received?

No. The practice financial overview uses invoiced totals, which can include unpaid invoices. Review payment records separately when assessing cash received.

How is the net figure calculated?

The displayed figure subtracts recorded business expenses from non-void invoiced totals for the selected period. Its accuracy depends on complete and correct invoice and expense records.

Can I use this as my final accounting report?

Use it to understand the financial activity recorded in the workspace. Review records, adjustments and accounting treatment with your accountant before using figures for formal reporting.
